Yoodli is a well known AI practice tool. You talk with an AI in a roleplay, and it tells you what went well and what to fix. Teams use it for sales training, onboarding and public speaking.
People look for a Yoodli alternative for one of three reasons. They want help during the real call, not only before it. They want an app on their phone. Or they want a simpler price for one person.
We build TalkPilot, so this is a vendor page. Every claim about another product comes from that company's own site, linked at the bottom. Where another tool is the better pick, we say so.
First question: practice, or help in the moment?
Practice tools help you get ready. Live tools help while the other person is still talking. Yoodli is mainly the first kind. It can also give feedback on a real meeting, but after the meeting ends: a bot joins your Zoom, Teams or Meet call, records it, and then gives notes. One Yoodli page mentions live nudges during calls, but the help article for that desktop feature is no longer online, so we could not confirm it.
The options
TalkPilot
TalkPilot does both jobs. Its Practice mode has roleplay scenarios, and you can rehearse a meeting that is on your calendar. Then, during the real call, it listens and gives you live coaching that only you see: what to say, what to ask, or a short cue like "Slow down". After the call, it writes structured notes and a recap.
- Where it wins: live help on the real call, on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. It works for phone calls and in-person meetings too. No bot joins your meeting.
- Where Yoodli wins: Yoodli has deeper practice tools for companies, like custom roleplays tied to a sales method, scoring rubrics, manager dashboards and links to learning systems. Its Pro plan also costs less than ours.
Hyperbound
Hyperbound is built for sales teams. Reps practice cold calls and discovery calls with voice AI buyers, and it scores real calls after they happen. It now offers live call coaching in a panel beside the meeting, sold as an add-on.
- Pick Hyperbound if you run a sales team, you want roleplay and call scoring in one place, and you are fine with quote-based pricing.
Second Nature
Second Nature is AI roleplay for large sales and service teams. Reps talk with AI buyer personas, and every session gets a score. It does not help during real calls. Prices are not published.
- Pick Second Nature if you are a large company with a training team and you want practice at scale.
Orai
Orai is a phone app for practicing talks. It checks filler words, pace and clarity.
- Pick Orai if you want to practice a speech or a pitch on your phone, alone.
Who should stay with Yoodli
Stay with Yoodli if practice is all you need, if your company already built its training inside Yoodli, or if price is the main thing. TalkPilot is a better fit when the hard part is the real conversation itself, the moment a client pushes back or a meeting goes off track.
Pricing
- TalkPilot: Free plan with 5 conversations a month, up to 30 minutes each, plus 5 practice runs a month. Pro is $20/month. Teams is $32 per user per month billed yearly, or $40 monthly, with at least 2 users. Students get 50% off.
- Yoodli: Free plan with 5 sessions. Pro is $8/month and Advanced is $20/month, both billed yearly. Team plans are by demo.
- Hyperbound: a free plan with prebuilt roleplays. Paid plans are priced per user, by quote.
- Second Nature: not published.
- Orai: $12/month or $49.99/year, with a 7-day trial that needs a card.

FAQ
What is the best free Yoodli alternative?
TalkPilot has a free plan with 5 live conversations and 5 practice runs a month. Hyperbound has a free plan with prebuilt sales roleplays. Free plans change often, so check before you commit.
Does Yoodli give live feedback during real calls?
We could not confirm it. Yoodli's help pages describe feedback after the meeting, through a bot that records the call. A desktop feature with live feedback was described before, but that help page is no longer online.
Can TalkPilot help me practice like Yoodli?
Yes. TalkPilot has a Practice mode with roleplay scenarios, and you can rehearse an upcoming meeting from your calendar. Yoodli has more tools for company training programs.
Which tool is best for sales teams?
For roleplay at scale, Yoodli, Hyperbound or Second Nature. For live help on the call with company playbooks, TalkPilot Teams. Many teams use one tool for practice and one for live calls.
