For therapists and counselors
Quiet support in session, so you can stay present.
TalkPilot listens to the session and shows short prompts on your screen, after each turn or only when you ask: reflect a feeling, ask an open question, let a pause sit. After, you get a short recap.
- No bot joins the session
- No audio stored
- Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android
TalkPilotSession“I don't even know why I'm here. Everyone says I should be fine.”
“It sounds like part of you doesn't feel fine. What's been hardest lately?”
Example of what you see on screen during a session.
The hard part
Being fully present, session after session, is hard.
Your mind runs ahead while your client talks.
You're half listening and half planning your next question.
By your last session of the day, you're running on empty.
It gets harder to catch the feeling under the words.
Nobody sees how you work in the room.
So you rarely get honest feedback on how you listen and respond.
TalkPilot follows the session quietly, so your attention can stay on your client.
With TalkPilot
Same session, more room to listen.
Your client says “I'm fine” and changes the subject
Without TalkPilotYou follow the new topic and the moment passes.
With TalkPilotA nudge: reflect what you heard and leave room. You come back to it gently.
You've been explaining for a while
Without TalkPilotYour client goes quiet and the session turns into a lecture.
With TalkPilotA small cue on your screen: “Their turn to speak.” You stop and ask what they think.
Your mind goes blank after something heavy
Without TalkPilotYou fill the silence with advice too soon.
With TalkPilotYou tap Assist and get one clear next step: name the feeling, then ask before you advise.
The session ends
Without TalkPilotYou promised to send a worksheet, and by Friday it's forgotten.
With TalkPilotYour recap lists it as a follow-up, and it can open as an email draft for you to send.
Your attention stays on your client. The recap keeps track of the rest.
How it works
Easy to use, between one client and the next.
- Before
1. Pick Therapy mode and a style
Open TalkPilot on your computer for online sessions, or on your phone for sessions in the room. Choose Therapy mode (Pro) and how you want help.
- Nudges: a short direction after each turn, never a script
- Standby: quiet until you tap Assist
- During
2. Start, then focus on your client
On a computer, TalkPilot hears your mic and the call's sound, so it works next to Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or any video app. On a phone, it hears the room. No bot joins. With Nudges, a prompt shows up when your client finishes a thought and leaves after about 20 seconds.
- After
3. Read a short recap
You get a one-line takeaway, the follow-ups you mentioned, and the transcript with each prompt where it appeared. Nothing goes out until you review it.
What you get
Built for listening, not for selling.
The same TalkPilot, set up for your sessions: short prompts about feelings and questions, small cues about your pace, and honest feedback after.
- Pro
Therapy mode
Prompts that help you name the feeling, reflect back what you heard, ask a gentle open question, or ask before you advise. It never suggests tactics, and sometimes the prompt is simply to pause.
Cues about how you talk
Short cues when you speed up, go on without a pause, or talk too long: “Slow down”, “Their turn to speak”. On by default.
Quiet until you ask
In Standby, nothing shows until you tap Assist. When you tap it, you always get one clear next step.
A Deep Dive on how you listened
After a session, ask for a Deep Dive: what you did well, where you can grow, and one move for next time. Lessons go to Memory, so the coach keeps them in mind next session. Free shows what you did well; Pro shows all of it.
Practice the hard talks
Rehearse out loud with an AI that plays the other person. Describe a talk in one sentence, like telling a client your fee is going up, and TalkPilot builds a practice around it.
English or Spanish
Coaching follows the language of the session, even if it switches halfway. Or pick one in Settings.
Privacy
What TalkPilot keeps, and what it doesn't.
TalkPilot is a conversation coach, not a clinical tool. Before you use it with clients, check that it fits your professional and privacy rules.
No audio stored
We don't record or store audio. Only the transcript is saved, in your account.
Only you see your sessions
In the personal app, only you can see your conversations. You can delete your account from the app.
No bot in the call
Nothing joins your Zoom or Meet, so nothing tells your client TalkPilot is there. Asking for consent is up to you.
Visible when you share your screen
TalkPilot shows on screen shares unless you turn on Undetectable (Pro, Mac and Windows).
A line you can use
Consent rules differ by place, and asking is your call. This is one simple way to ask before your first session with TalkPilot.
“I use a tool that transcribes our session and shows me prompts on my screen. No audio is saved. Is that okay with you?”

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What therapists and counselors ask before they try TalkPilot.
- No. TalkPilot is a conversation coach, not a clinical tool, and it doesn't write clinical notes. After a session you get a one-line takeaway, the follow-ups you mentioned and the transcript. Your notes are still yours to write.
